Dating Coach is operated by Shitty Apps ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy applies to our mobile application and website at datingcoach.pro (collectively, the "Service").

2. What Data We Collect
Information you provide:
- Profile data: name, age, gender, dating preferences (set during onboarding)
- Conversation content within the app (messages with characters and coach)
Information collected automatically:
- Device identifier (randomly generated, not linked to your identity)
- App usage data: features used, session duration, screens visited
- Website analytics via Google Analytics 4: pages visited, time on page, approximate location (country/city level), device type
- Cookies and similar tracking technologies on the website
Information we do NOT collect:
- Your real name (unless you provide it voluntarily)
- Email address (no account registration required)
- Payment details (processed directly by Apple App Store or Google Play)
- Location beyond city/country level
3. How We Use Your Data
We use collected data to:
- Deliver and improve the Service
- Personalise your experience (e.g., remember your profile settings)
- Understand how users interact with the app and website (analytics)
- Ensure safety and prevent abuse
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
4. Conversations
Conversations you have with characters and the coach within the app are processed to generate responses. We may use aggregated, anonymised conversation data to improve our models. Individual conversations are not shared with third parties and are not used to identify you.
5. Cookies and Tracking
Our website uses cookies set by Google Analytics 4 to understand website traffic and user behaviour. These cookies collect anonymised data (pages visited, session duration, approximate location).
You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking at any time via our cookie consent banner or by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

7. Data Retention
- Conversation data: retained for up to 90 days, then automatically deleted
- Profile data: retained while you use the Service; deleted upon account deletion request
- Analytics data: retained per Google Analytics default settings (14 months)
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to processing
- Data portability

For users in the EU/EEA, we process data under the following legal bases: legitimate interests (analytics, service improvement), consent (cookies), and contractual necessity (delivering the Service).
9. Children
The Service is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has used our Service, please contact us immediately.
